Merika's conversations

This "Flag in the Smithsonian" does not need to be displayed on the west building of the National Gallery of Art, as it is neither in the building, nor part of the National Gallery of Art. Also, the National Gallery of Art is not part of the Smithsonian. Why, when there are so many beautiful artworks placed in the NGA would someone not just place a photograph of say, a Renaissance painting on the top of it?

If this artifact is located "inside the Smithsonian", then why has it been placed on the National Gallery of Art?

Great shot Dusty! One of the reasons I fell for the night skies here, they are always so very dramatic. Wonderful to share with loved ones, or alone all year around.

I really like the architecture on that temple. The inside is just as nice and has a good fusion of typical temple architecture and southwest influence.

Good shot.
