People talk so bad about the Salton Sea or Desert Shores. They dont know. Back in the 60s and 70s the water was clean. Less alter than the ocean. Ski, swim, ride old dirt bikes. This place had it all. So we people 50 years old rember its sparkle. Sad even though our local goverment understood what was going to happen 25 years before it did. They let it die.

Welcome to the group "Saskatchewan".

That's what had fascinated me during my stay in the US: That high variety of burger restaurants which also offer real good burgers. Here in Germany, our idea of burgering is a rather negative one, fuelled only by McDonald's and Burger King. They are okay but you have got better burger chains in your country. +++++ Jürgen greets you from Frankfurt / Main; Germany.

Germany is very beautiful country! Very nice photo! L+F

Good picture! Like!

I like the lovely colors on this building.

It's a shame to see the old fort in such bad shape. I was a scout in Troop 1000, Artesia CA in 1969. Had some fantastic Camporees and campouts at Firestone. The fort was the highlight of Firestone back then. Some great memories on Scouts from this area. Thanks for sharing your picture. Jay
