(I only can hope for you that you are not a humorless person! According to different studies those people also have a smaller expectancy of life ;) )
After the definition 'humour' is It is the trait of a person to respond to certain situations with serenity. Or an stylistic device that brings cheerfulness to the audience.
And 'surprise' also can be a component of humour.
Humour also can be subclassified in irony, derision, cynicism and wit. For me good humour also requires a certain kind of self-mockery.

This picture here overwrites a well known picture that one has seen hundreds of times (well, if you have a certain age :) ) with such an obviously faked earth that it appears ridiculous. This is funny :)
Dear Petromin, a wonderful capture of... well the colleague above calls this a schist. As I don`t possess a geological map of Ukraine I have to compare it to the outcrops I know in Europe and South America. The folding pattern rather reminds me of cherts than of schists...
But - as you know - two geologists three opinions :-)
