There is a large tarmac parking area and costs £1.00 per day. Here there is a large grassed picnic area and children's play area. There is a footpath around the reservoir with raised walkways where the ground is soft. The other side of the road below the dam is College reservoir which also has a footpath around it. This path can be very muddy in wet weather.

Since Google Earth picture taken site has now been developed into a Plaza and opened Autumn 2007. Well worth a visit
