My grandfather (or great grand father) was stationed at Perch Rock or the barracks a mile or two away. My parents were born in 1897 and 1900. A number of years have gone by since Mother died in 1995. They lived in Wallasey for almost all of their lives, Dad was born in Rock Ferry. Mom's family was Babbs and has a shop at 127 Victoria Road (Destroyed by bombs during WW2.I lived there from birth in August 1938 until the business was sold in April 1939.We then moved to Leasowe. I have lived in Houston, Texas for the past 24 years.

Adoro Obidos! Foi uma das vilas mais lindas que tive a oportunidade de conhecer, nas 3 vezes que fui de ferias a terra dos meus avos. Gostei muito tambem de Nazare. Mas, Obidos, ficou cravada na memoria. Obrigada, Lina, pelas lindas fotos! Feliz Natal e um 2010 glorioso.
