Absolutely right PJS, in fact there are mechanical interlocks within the lever frame of the signal box, preventing the wrong selection of signal phases or conflicts. JRD.

This is an English Electric Lightning on permanent static display at Thorpe Camp visitors centre at Tattershall Thorpe, which was part of the RAF Woodhall base where some of the Dambusters were located during WW2. (The photo is greatly offset from it's actual position so as not to obscure the view of the site.)

This is the 'Home' stop signal of the station's signal box, which both marks & protects the signal box's 'Station-Limits' starting point. There will be another 'Stop' signal at the other end of the Station-Limits which mark the end of the Station-Limits & the start of the next 'Block-Section', this signal is called the 'Starter' signal. (See also, the Distant Signal approximately 1 km to the West).

This church has a tower that leans 6 feet 4½ inches (1.94 metres) out of perpendicular. (observe the house window in the background near the base of the tower).

Ex-Prodrive Legacy, used by the Subaru World Rally Team as a pace-car in Asian-Pacific rallies in the early 90s, now passed away.
