Hi you have this photo positioned in the wrong spot, This is the view from Rt 11 on the shore of South Twin Lake. About 10 miles south of its current position. Sorry to comment, but for some reason Panoramio would not permit a misplaced suggestion for this photo.

Yeah, Shining Rock WAS beautiful, wasn't it? I say WAS because a bunch of rich yuppies built a golf course, condos & mcmansions all around it :(

This photo was taken west of the Wachusett Meadow Audobon Sanctuary while still on Goodnow Road (The part you can't drive on). There was a forest fire here (behind the photographer) in the spring of 2007. You can't really tell from this photo, but the grasses in the foreground are charred from the flames.
