Hi elelwal-KEEP PANO Yes its quite a structure. It must have been hard for the builders out in all weathers in those days its a bleak old place in winter.Best wishes Alan.
Steve, Ive attempted to crop a shot, even this one today here, but am un successful it seems, I will keep trying...This would look good with the pole gone for sure!
Yes I was happy he slowed the VAN down so I could snap this one quickly,(and the one beside this) as there was lots of traffic!!
I received the crop! thanks Sarah X
HAHA! I suppose she was "seeing" those red eyes also Steve..:) She didn't miss A THING!!
I see the horse and the rider need some sprucing up a bit. it is under a shelter, but still has a good bit of damage, probably from weather and maybe from kids, and adults alike, crawling up there for photos ?? His chaps are really worn!!
thanks for taking a good visit to this new series..Iam not done with the North Georgia trip, but maybe on next posting I will finish it off!!
Have a great week ahead .... Warm wishes, Sarah x
Hello Dear Amelia, It was beginning to get a little late in the evening here, so the lighting was interesting.. HAHA, Amelia, I didn't catch her name:)) But she hung by a stick, as some other figures around the courthouse square. in the lower left of this shot, when enlarged, you'll see another "lady" in a chair and on around in the distance facing the other way, you'll see another one...Straw figures out everywhere it seemed, for the Fall, Halloween season :)) Yep, I was holding the camera, with my daughter-in-law right at my side, taking her shots!
Good to see you as always....Sarah / with Hugs
HELLO Dearest Amelia, Iam so happy to see you!! what a great comment to compare this with your lovely Wales!! thank you!! Yes this is a wonderful area in the mountains of our Georgia!! I just wish the leaves had been more into the fall colors, tho we did see some, but not as much as some trips before. we went a bit too early this year!
Mr. O has had a pretty rough 4 months, but is doing well now. thanks for that kind thought, we are both doing well! AND I surely hope all is well there in your world, I think of you often, just haven't been so active here on pano, but I still love it, and hope it isn't swallowed up by that NEW idea called "VIEWS" :((((
Hugs returned dear Amelia....Sarah

Hi Peter have had PC in the shop so have not replied to your comment here. We have both BMW and Harley's here, so either one is a great choice. Steve could have fun on either of these, and yes I did think that they sounded different.
