Hello Peter i am pleased you like this find from the 1940's weekend and what a great invention the bin bag was for trips to wet places for the modern rider :))
Best wishes .. Steve
I am not so sure she did my dear Sarah she was so engrossed in the person singing .. i chose this angle as the street out of shot to the left was quite packed with other people stood listening also ... the road was closed to traffic BUT the odd vehicle from the parade did pass along
Best wishes .... Steve X
HA HA Hello my dear Sarah it was great to see such a good turn out of American Vehicles around this event and perhaps even one or two Americans were made welcome too :))
Best wishes ... steve X
Good Afternoon, Mike (its 3:20 here, I think you are 3? 4? behind us right)
Thank you for "flying" in with this Dove Mike, yes it could be mating season, Iam not sure on this however, we have a good many here, but NOT like what you are describing:) Yes we also hear them, but so far their cooing has not bothered us, I really enjoy the ones we have, James likes to watch them walk as they move their heads back and forward to walk:)))
I appreciate the like award also.
well, Mike it is VERY HARD to stay cool unless we STAY INSIDE:)) wow, its a dangerously HOT summer in Georgia!! Best wishes to the two of you too Mike. Sarah
Thank you so much HONZA for your kind comments
and for the LIKE. They are always appreciated.
Greetings from the USA, Mike
So you did, Sarah. I remember perfectly now.
Yes, it is indeed a pity we don't have this beautiful bird in Europe.
Best wishes, Andy
There were certainly lots of American vehicles of all shapes and sizes at the event Peter .. the closes Amelican airbase to us was a fighter base at Colby Grange between Sleaford and Lincoln ... then the B17 bomber bases further south around Norfolk ect
Best wishes ... steve
I am not sure if these people were three members of one of the dance groups present but like so many visitors to the weekend had dressed the part for sure
it was certainly the more sunny of the two days :))
HAHA Steve, I think he may see me there in the window:) that one eye seems to notice me:) Your nice comment and that YSL is greatly appreciated again. always great to see you drop by with your take on my gallery.
Kind greetings, Sarah x
Hello dear Steve, thank you, I sorta thought the lighting might seem dark, but when looking closer, I liked how the light bounced off the tail of this Dove, he's quite handsome isn't he? :)
The YSL is so kind of you, I appreciate that.
warm greetings, Sarah x
