HAHA! yep Steve we have so many birds at this time, beginning of spring, and some spring rain, that we really HAD to pick up another feeder so to have more birds around, and more for me to try and capture in a photo!! in the blurred background (to the right here) you see a feeder "cage", also popular with some types of birds! The birds are quite plentiful in the last few days, so much fun to watch!!
Happy you liked this catch! kind wishes and hugs, Sarah X
AHHH! A YSL...you are so kind dear Steve, you know how I have struggled (still am) with this camera, but I really do see the results in some of the clarity and quality of some of the shots. Iam happy about that, and your encouragement means a lot! Thanks a lot for the YSL, makes the getting out in a chilly rain and wind, to get this shot, a lot more worth while:))
my kindest wishes and a thankful hugs as well!
Alan I agree with Mike here about that song! the "Bonny Bonny Banks of Lock Lomond! the composition here is quite nice Alan, I especially like how you composed the little tree there on the bank that juts out a bit into the Lake, and of course the mountains in the far background. I like this Alan!!
Bonny! Bonny! Best Wishes, ~~Sarah~~
Hi Alan Ah HA! here is the North East Face of MY Mountain:)) this is a fantastic shot, and as you know, I claim this mountain, It sits in my Den here over the PC Desk! :))
Love this angle, and have enjoyed your mountains over there for quite a while, as you well know.
A big ole like for this beauty!! looks a bit spooky for climbing, but you and that cousin were brave souls in this endeavor! Brave Mountain men! :)
kindest wishes, Sarah

This field is at the westbound exit to Oak Grove Road off of US 74. For the past two years, the flowers have NOT been planted. What a shame. I don't know why the NC Department of Transportation stopped planting the flowers along these interchanges in Gaston County, just northwest of Kings Mountain.
