Hello Frans thank you for your YS-L on this shot of an Heron waiting for lunch to pass :))
best wishes ... steve
Thank you so much for adding this one to your favourites, dear Joli. Living on a relatively small island, there are miles of coastline to walk, and this one is very exciting.
Hello dear Sarah HA HA i wish the friends car was mine but not as much as Luke wishes it was his when i asked Mark if he would kindly show it to him :))
best wishes ... Steve X
thank you i am pleased you like it and i see you have some fantastic photos of loco's too i will enjoy visiting when chance :))
Thank you so much for taking the trouble to come back, and of course for the awards! One thing I really like about SVR is the night time gala in September. You can be sure of coming away with a few decent night time shots, as our dear Füsun found out!
Danke Manfred.... Immer! Und jetzt noch mehr als früher...
Hello dear Amelia, YES this IS A WOODPECKER, I'll amend the title, one shot over you will see the interchange of comments with Mr. Professor, our friend, Steve D* and the link he provided that named this colorful visitor: the Red Bellied Woodpecker... this woodpecker has been around more frequently since this shot. You are so right, we do enjoy these visitors, we can sit in the den and watch how these feathered friends enjoy the bounty of feeders around our yard.
HAHA, Oh no, I don't burn the cakes :)) I only bake now for the family, have retired from the loads of baking I have done in the past.
Thanks for the visit Amelia.
Sending warm greetings and Hugs your way, Sarah
