This has been an enjoyable 9 years of posting for me. I am going to miss Panoramio. I have always thought it was a great venue for showing one's photo abilities, interests, and local geography/geology.
The link below describes the Panoramio closure. I haven't decided what I am going to do, yet. I know I will not be getting a G+ account. I have tried google photos and do not like it. It is most likely that I will delete all my Panoramio photos.

Veľmi pekne ďakujem za všetok strávený čas pozeraním mojich fotiek, daním hodnotenia ako aj pozretia mojich článkov alebo videií. Veľmi si vážim toho, že mi panoramio pomohlo spoznať krásu sveta prostredníctvom úžasných ľudí a ich pohľadov na svet. Pre nedostatok času ohodnotím len 1 fotografiu z galérie Like + Favourite a keď mi zvýši ešte čas, vrátim sa pozrieť ďalšie fotky. Bolo by mi však ľúto, keby pre nedostatok času, nikto nevidel moje úsilie z päťdesiatich letných výletov - preto tu je výber toto najlepšieho z leta 2016.
Just saw your message Herb about Pano closing down that is so sad as I have made a lot of friends on this site. I am on 500px so looks like I will be going back to that one.
