Nice shot. Is this place accesable? Is it a good place to do video recording of trains?

These windmills are located on an abandoned strip mine where the forest and land has already been disturbed. This is a good placement for them. Unfortunately, the same wind concerns that set this windmill want to place them in very fragile and special mountain top environments that have not been previously disturbed. The encroachment of windmills compromise the land and water quality of the mountain area. Keep the windmills where they belong. Strive fro Sensible Wind Solutions!!

scene of massive debris pile and horrendous fire during the 1889 flood. miles and miles of wire from a wire mill destroyed up river were washed down entangling anything and everything in its path. hundreds of gallons of lamp oil accumulated and caught fire. wood, livestock and people included.

my grandfather planted these trees as a school project. this is looking west from Bucknell st. the cross street were the median starts is Colgate ave. my old street! beautiful photo.
