Sometimes I like taking simple landscape photos, but the ones I love the most have dramatic clouds or have weird light conditions. I don't usually use photo enhancing programs but recently (from 2010) I have dabbled in a bit of low level saturation and contrast correction. I don't like the hideous 'lolly shop' saturation of colours that some people use. Having said that, recently I have been cranking up the saturation on the D90. My photos from 2008-09 are from a Nikon Coolpix L15 (nothing special!) and some earlier photos are from a compact Pentax. Some of the Norway shots were from a borrowed Panasonic Lumix. In March 2010 I started using a Panasonic LX3 and in September 2011 bought a Nikon D90 with VR18-200 I have been scanning my back catalogue of negatives with an Epson V500.

Greetings Tiffany, Thank you for your visit to my gallery and your wonderful comments. I hope you enjoyed the image of the mountains and the lakes in the early morning light. It was nice to have the low clouds kissing the mountain tops to add a bit of mystery to the feeling. Take care and have a great day. Cheers, Rich

Thanks, Bernard.

Hi Geo, you should watch the video to see the shadows move across the mountains. Glad you stopped by, Greg.
