Glad you like the photos. The town is very small, just a few homes gathered around a crossroads. All with a beautiful view of the atlantic and some small islands. I visited this area while investigating my own geneology as well however the Walsh side of my family is from a different county.I don't know if you can see the previous comment on this photo but you probably can find info about your great great grandfather at http://mayo.irishroots.net/
