Pre-booked at 13.00, arrived on time. Not shown to our table - just pointed to a vague area where there were free tables. When we went up to order the meals, there were eleven items not available. We over heard that there was probably a 45 minute wait - we were not advised when we put in our order. We received starters (not our first choice) after about 20 minutes which were delicious. We then sat waiting for the main meal for over an hour and a quarter - no member of staff came to speak to us or assure us that we had not been forgotten. We went to check after about about an hour what was happening with our meals - not one came back to us and let us know what was happening. After another 15 minutes and no contact from any member of staff, we walked out. We did speak to a member of staff as we left and he said it was his first shift! It was a double birthday celebration which I think we all want to foget. There is no point in good food/chef if the restaurant is so poorly managed that a third of the menu is unavailable and you can't keep customers informed.
