This beautiful lake is now without any fish and about to be drained, because of terrible water sources waste and pollution. Unfortunately, the administration, national and local, does nothing to restore.
We, the people of the near villages, as children grown with its superb fishes (like carp), and always haunted with this landscape, hope that this will change and look forward to solidarity from every goodwilling person.
Kouri is an oak tree forest very close to Thessaloniki (10 Km), especially beautiful in winter, when snow lasts for many weeks. Also some rare flowers (iris sp.) and mushrooms (edible, but also poisonous).

Σπιτικός γάτος ήταν, αλλά με σπάνιες ορειβατικές ικανότητες. Κκαι προσανατολισμού στο βουνό!

This mushroom is edible and sometimes big.
