Danilo Costanti - VA… Il fiume Nera trae le sue sorgenti dai Monti Sibillini, il suo bacino comprende i territori di Visso (MC), Norcia e Cascia con gli affluenti F. Corno e F. Sordo. Tutte le acque confluiscono presso il paese di Triponzo. Nel suo percorso attraversa molti paesi carichi di storia millenaria, come Cerreto di Spoleto, Vallo di Nera, Sant’anatolia di Narco, Scheggino, Ferentillo, Arrone, Terni e Narni. Termina il suo corso riversando le sue acque nel fiume Tevere nei pressi di Orte, non prima di aver dato origine ai bacini artificiali dei Laghi di Recentino e di San Liberato ricchi di rara avifauna. Nei pressi di Terni riceve il più importante affluente: il Velino. Lo riceve dopo un impressionante salto artificiale di 165 metri di altezza: la Cascata delle Marmore. Il paesaggio della Valnerina racconterà, a chi ha tempo di ascoltare, la storia del millenario lavoro degli uomini, dei contadini e dei pastori che hanno abitato e amato questa terra ma anche delle lotte svolte alla sua conquista. Il silenzio dei campi, rotto solo dallo scorrere pacifico del fiume, da secoli invita alla quiete ed ha ispirato nei secoli un forte senso di spiritualità, che oggi si legge ancora nelle facciate delle abbazie romaniche, nelle pievi medievali e nelle semplici e confortanti madonelle, o edicole votive, poste nei crocicchi delle strade. La VALNERINA è la valle dove io sono nato, la valle in cui vivo e lavoro. Non vi è in me terra più cara di questa. Corno and f. Sordo. All the waters converge at the village of Triponzo. In his path crosses many countries loads of history, as Cerreto di Spoleto, Vallo di Nera, Saint Anatolia di Narco, Scheggino, Ferentillo, Arrone, Terni and Narni. Ends its course pouring its water into the River Tiber near Orte, not before having given rise to artificial Lakes of Recentino and San Liberato, rich in rare bird. Near Terni receives the most important tributary: the Velino river. Receives this after an impressive artificial jump of 165 meters of height: the Marmore Falls. The landscape of Valnerina tells, for who has time to listen, the history of millennial work of men, of the farmers and shepherds who have lived and loved this earth but also struggles undertaken to his conquest. The silence of the fields, broken only by the peaceful River, has inspired over the centuries, a strong sense of spirituality, that even today we can see on the facades of the abbeys, churches and medieval madonelle or in the simples and comforting, newsstands votive, poste at the junctions of the roads.
