i bike here often and took many photos, but never had good enough sky
Great photo!! I would LOVE to use this as illustration in a book I'm preparing about the history of my company, which has been involved in many TO construction projects over the last 40 years. This publication won't be for sale, but I still won't use the photo without your permission. Would appreciate it!! silke"at"isherwood.to

Šta god da je, verovatno da je tamo :) Pozdrav!
Dear Mr. Whalen, your photo of the Taft lobby brought back so many memories. I stayed there in the early 60's not sure of the year, but my hometown band was invited to march in the NYC St. Pat's parade and we stayed at the Taft. What an adventure it was for us! I'd never stayed in a hotel...but the worst thing was that a man committed suicide while we were there - he jumped out his hotel window and to the ground. Very scary.
LOVE your photo - thanks for sharing.
great 70's cars and 70's girls.
not much change yet on this stretch of Yonge except the store names!
but the monstrosity they allowed farther south is stomach turning.....
Nice view ! Good composition. I like.
The house has been moved, right? Its like a half mile south of here now, and a few hundred feet further inland.
For what it is worth, I think your position was over the East River, Manhattan Bridge, looking NW.
Lovely Picture, by the way.
