Driving back towards "downtown". In the distance, you can see the Wells Fargo building, court system building, and other buildings of downtown Barrow. It's about 2pm and the sun is barely above the horizon
This looks a lot more like the road that led to the military facilities outside town. Access to the ice road was close to the power plant and the gas station.
