Nice vantage point of Little Beach and the west Maui mountains. This is very good spot to see the moonrise too.

Road was closed during our trip . Now from 8 Oct 08 this fantastic road repaired after two years.

Above Ground Zero at dawn

Battle of Mt. Golico . Italians were defending the slopes and top of Mt. Golico under heavy attacks of greek army . During winter months of 1941 italians were struggling also due to very low temperatures and poor military equipemnt and only due to very strong resistence and fights they keep the top of the mount . The italian soldier Miani Tomasino ( first on the left in the second raw ) received the Silver medal for act of heroism and support to friendly soldiers , inspite heavy injury , in front of the enemy.
