Of course you are right.
The three digits referred to are indeed the
number of the beast, the beast being Satan!
It is my understanding, and I look for
verification on this one, is that the Motor
Registration Authorities in the UK will not issue
the treble digits in question. But, in Ireland,
for some perverse reason, the telephone
numbers of all Dublin City Police Stations
begin with the treble six!
A Google search for the "number of
the beast" will give a very detailed
account.
