This was built as a Pavilion, replacing the existing Bandstand. It has only been romantically called "Britain's Smallest Pier" in recent years and is not offically recognised as a pier. The true pier at Burnham is now know as The Jetty or Slipway where the lifeboats launch.

This is the Claerwen Dam. It is the largest dam in the Elan/Claerwen system and Llyn Claerwen behind it is the largest reservoir of this group. It is built of concrete, faced with stone and was completed in 1953. It was the first large public structure inauguratd by Queen Elizabeth II.
