Hi John, great to see your pictures of Wake Island. i was the Architect/Construction Supervisor for PAA in 1952-53 I designed and built Facilities on Wake. A Typhoon destroyed the Island and left Pan Am Inhabitants stranded on Peacock Point on that bunker. It appears the wreck of the Suva Maru on the west side has been salvaged.
