With Google Earth's earlier bias against nighttime shots apparently loosened, perhaps this image can now be included.
The photo shows a permanent installation (which has been there for decades) which can be freely seen year-round from much of Scranton. It has become one of the most iconic images of that city.

The Nittany Lion Shrine is, next to the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, the most important cultural icon in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The sculpture is freely accessible to the public year-round and can even be seen from a freely accessible street. I can't see any reason why it should be excluded from Google Earth.

Commenter courtain is right, of course: the bow of a French ship is visible, as well.
In any case, it's always great fun to visit the various vessels at Fleet Week and observe both the similarities and cultural differences between the sailors from around the world (e.g., how Pakistani sailors—all of whom male—would frequently and openly hold hands during shore leave.) :-)

I created a new website about the phenomenon Christmas tree as a popular sculpture. There you can upload your pictures of Christmas trees of any kind.
The idea to establish www.myxmastree.de based on the interest in the cultural practice of the year in December, to put up a Christmas tree for a limited period of time, beyond a sectarian concern. This popular artistic activity will be moved to the center of the image database on this consideration and always be available. So one can globally get an overview of the diverse observations on the subject of Christmas and give an evaluation system to highlight the most popular creations.

For copyright reasons, you should have photographed the photos themselves. It does not matter whether it is your own decorated Christmas trees in past years or this year - or if you like to publish Christmas trees of any kind seen anywere else.
Once you're on the site - have registered the top right - you should receive an activation email. After that, the game can start. Go easy! Test it! Love Greetings
P.S. Please forward this mail to friends !
