A truly wonderful shot. I too, witnessed an osprey nest on a recent bike ride in PEI, Canada. However, after being dive-bombed by terns just a few days earlier, I decided not to stop for a photo opp. As a matter of fact, I rode away as quietly and as unassuming as I was able to, keeping one eye on Ma who was keeping both eyes on me...

Thanks for the plug, Dave. It's an extra surprise since I was wandering around Google Earth, as I am wont to do some afternoons, when I spotted the marker for this shot. I thought to myself that it looks like where we entered to woods to go fishing so I clicked on it.
It's a great shot, and I was delighted to see that I knew the photographer. After reading the comments I realized why it appealed so much so again, thanks for awarding me the assist.
