I grew up in the building on the right back in the 70's. I don't live in the city anymore and it was good to see it. Thanks to whomever took this shot. It made my day. Good memories. to me this field was where rap and hip hop started. People used to bring out their turntables and amps and somehow tap into the lightpole for a power source. Of course this was 30 years ago and the soccer field that is in place today was a really bad piece of asphalt back then. But it was perfect for people in the late 70's to come out on a hot summer night and listen to some jams. It was awesome! come to think about it. It was probably thirty years ago this summer.
