This was bob's cabin back in the 60's- late 80,s He was a great man, taught me many things about the lake and land. I miss this place. hey ed your pics are great. keep up the good work.

Hey ED, My name is Steve McKee. My parents owned the cabin on the island at Brandy Pond in ME. I saw the pic with the canoe, and the cabin in back of the canoe. I was freinds with the family that owned it. It was awesome seeing pics of the lake. I have many pics of the lake and sorroundings that I will try and post. Thanks for the memories. Steve

That's Mt Champlain on Mount Desert island. The camera is looking pretty much due west. Schoodic Mountain is on the mainland almost exactly north of the camera by about 15 miles.

This was an old casino ship that came into port and the whole business ran out of money. The workers on the boat had to find their own ways home since the company running the boat went bankrupt.
