This is a very good picture. Actually it is of the Episcopal Church of the Cross. It is the only building not burned during the Union raid of Bluffton during the Civil War.

Neat site to see Bald Eagles and Juveniles lined up together. They choose the highest knolls in the area.

This church on the banks of the May River in Bluffton was the only building spared when the Union soldiers burned the town during the Civil War.

I am glad the two pictures brought back fond memories. There is not much left except these two buildings. Beaufort County purchased the site and has put a dock there on the river. What do you remember that you would like to see again?
