Actually, the true name is Garden Mountain Fire Tower. The knob it's located on is Garden Mountain (Kingsport 7.5 min. USGS topographic map)

I have posted a picture that I took of the real Sensabaugh Tunnel in the same location.

I'm almost 63 now but I have many fond memories of this man and how I used to look forward to visiting his home. I think I first knew him around 1955 when I was about 6 years old. His wife and another woman ran a gift shop across the road from his home and it was always fun to stop in and see all the craft items they had for sale and to listen to their stories. Mr Peak knew a lot about geology and had a lot of mineral and rock specimens in his house and I thought it was so cool that he knew so much about them. For him they were more than just rocks. Unfortunately he passed away before I was able to show him the black jade I found as a teenager on a walk along a rocky road in the Himalayas.
