No worries, ojiisan. I decided to go without knowing and everything worked out just fine. Yes, I saw the turbines - quite a scene with the sunrise on the horizon.

I've just discovered my greatX3 grandfather lived in Lewis, Lewis County, New York very early in the 1800's. Several of his children were born there. He seems to have moved from there to Cortland and then to Canada. None of his children seem to have died there.

I've driven close to there many times, on the road from Camden to Boonville. Odd coincidence.

Thank you very much. This was taken early in the morning as air temperatures were cold and water temperatures were still warm.

Hi Im the web designer for the Ilion Days Committee website, www.iliondoodah.com and was wondering if we could use your picture of Misty Morning in Ilion NY on NYS Barge Canal as our main picture. We would give you credit for taking the picture and a link to your site if you want. I think its a beautiful picture that shows how beautiful Ilion is. You can contact me at info@iliondoodah.com Thank you.

"Main" freight?? Not at all. It used to carry some POL stuff for the air base when it was open but now that is gone too. I doubt there is any real freight traffic there now. Let alone a lot of it. Almost all recreational boats.
