This is a stone sculpture entitled "Deirbhile's Twist" which was installed as part of the Tir Saile (Land of the salty winds) Sculpture Symposium. The symposium was organised as part of the Mayo 5000 celebrations to mark 5000 years of organised social life and cultural activity in Mayo as depicted at the Ceide Fields archaeological visitor centre near Ballycastle. The sculpture was created by sculptor Michael Bulfin.
