PRAIA DA FALESIA is a beach that stretches eastwards over more than three kilometres, framed by a continuous line of ochre and white cliffs. At the Albufeira end the cliff is very soft and it has been deeply etched by erosion. Eye-catching and brightly-coloured species of plants brighten the sand near the cliffs. The beach, which has some very peaceful areas, is reached by a set of wooden steps and a wooden ramps with plenty beach restaurants and is supervised during the bathing season.
