You must have some good stories on this trip. Did you have anything unusual happen?

Hallo Emile,
.
thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures.
.
In summer 2013 a friend and me want to charter a boat in the Prince Williams Sound and doing some day hikes on different mountains (or hills :-) ). Using Google Earth and an online map providing very accurate maps of Alaska (http://sv.gina.alaska.edu/), I was searching for mountains which should be possible without difficult climbing. And in Panoramio I discovered, that you have already visited some of these places, namely:
.
Mount Doran, which we want to do from Point Doran (or maybe we'll stop at one of it's northern foothills, if the going get too tough)
.
An unnamed hill above Columbia Glacier west of Anderson Pass
.
If it's ok with you to tell me a little bit about your trekking there, send your mail address to djenrich@yahoo.de, I will send you a mail with my questions. And in case you have any questions about the areas I was traveling (see http://www.panoramio.com/user/62557), I'm more than happy to answer them.
.
Kind regards
Dirk
