So what if it isn't artistic? As it happens, it offers an extremely usefull perspective of the lie of the land very close to our next holiday destination, therefore in my eyes totally justifies being uploaded. Many thanks to the OP.

Photograph shows the CalMac ferry "Loch Tarbert" arriving at Claonaig ferry slip from Lochranza on Arran. This is a summer-only route running approx. hourly through the day. In wintertime this ferry runs between Tarbert and Portavadie and, once a day does a Tarbert-Lochranza return run.
