Kinbane castle is on the road from Ballycastle to Ballintoy, old ruins are whats left of what was built around 1546 on a long narrow limestone promontory leading out to the sea (Kinbane Head). On a clear day beautiful views can be seen from here of Rathlin and Scotland. A steep stepped decent leads down to the old ruins and nearby an unused fisherman's house.
