I am a Dutch biologist who is currently living in Leuven, Belgium. Here I am working on a doctorate in science. I’ve been seriously wasting time on photography since 2004 and I love to travel around and take pictures of all the beautiful sites I see. These photographs have found their way to a number of places on the internet such as Wikimedia and the Belgian site Erf-goed.be.
Some years ago, my attention was drawn to Panoramio via another site on which I post my photographs and I have periodically uploaded relevant photographs to this site in the hope that they will serve some use in helping visitors learn a little more about the incredibly rich architectural/cultural heritage of the Netherlands, as well as all the places I visit during my travels. I also occasionally show interesting examples of threatened architectural heritage in Flanders before they perish.
