KTO in Pursuit of Sustainable Growth Thank you for visiting the official website of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO). It was created solely as a means of promoting Korea tourism and providing useful tourism information for those of you wishing to visit Korea. First established in 1962, KTO is a government-invested organization acting as the central force in developing Korea's tourism industry. KTO's primary goal is to improve Korea's tourism environment and attract more foreign tourists to make Korea the world's leading travel destination. In order to achieve such goals, KTO has put tremendous effort in establishing a resort complex, improving tourist accommodations, and expanding the infrastructure of the tourism industry. Furthermore, KTO is greatly involved in developing tourism technology and tour packages, and is continuously involved in the areas of promotion and marketing. One of the KTOs recent projects has been to promote and market Hallyu (Korea Wave) movies, dramas, music, food, etc, and to develop tour packages related to Hallyu, or what is more widely known as "The Korean Wave". KTO has 26 offices in 14 countries, and is working closely with the local tour industry to ensure tourism information is made directly available at our respective sites. For visitors to Korea, KTO provides various services including insightful tourist information, and promotional activities as well as regularly gauging customer feedback. 사진속의 이 집은 윤보선 전 대통령이 기거하시던 집으로 안국동에 위치하고 있습니다. 윤보선 전 대통령의 생가는 충남 아산시에 별도로 있습니다. 두 집 모두 문화재로 지정되어 있어 정보는 잘 찾을 수 있습니다. 관광공사라는 공공기관에서 운영하는 사이트에 이러한 잘못된 정보가 등록되어 있다니 참 답답하네요. 수정이 언제나 될지는 모르겠지만 꼭 수정하길 바랍니다. 잘못기록된 사진들이 이것 뿐만이 아니라 여러개던데요.
