This was taken in April of 2008. Since this was my first time back to New Orleans since summer 2005, before Katrina, I was surprised to see such a large rush hour. I was told by family that New Orleans East has not been rebuilt, so everyone has moved to the Westbank.
The funny thing is that I took this picture in January of 2007 because I thought those prices were insane. Now (29 Sep 08) in Atlanta, Georgia gas costs $4.60 for regular.
