My dear Füsun,
Thank you for your sweet words and thoughts!
Summer will soon be here, and there will be big rocks to sit on, but probably not here. Maybe another country.......
I am sure the beach dress will come out again!
Hi Peter, on the Brocken mountain is possibly snow. But with us is already correct spring. Here the winter was that year but also warm. You can see also my pics from the HSB. Regards, Frank
Thank you for your visit to these poor cold sheep. It is hard to believe that it was the end of March. For us snow at that time is very rare.
Thank you for your visit to this picture of Wadebridge climbing this embankment. Your awards are most welcome. This was the first train of the day coming towards the end of its climb, which presumably had livened the fire up a bit too.
I had noticed you have a couple of pics of Churnet valley, I like to have a look who has been where before I go, so as to get good ideas for locations, and I know that your photos are always among the best, so I take guidance from them!
Another big Thank you for the awards here. I thought the little saddle tank deserved to be in a photo with a big engine, but there will be a few more pictures of the saddle tank to come.
Thank you again, both for the visit and the star. It is much appreciated. It is difficult for me to say too much about the coincidence of the boat and railmotor being in the same place at the same time, I didn't plan it!!
Thank you very much for your visit and the awards. I am honoured. As I said to Alan, I wanted to try as many different locations as possible, (since there were only three different trains running), and the tunnel was definitely on the list. Unfortunately it is not the best lit of locations, so I was happy with just the one good picture!
A banana train :~))))
Thank you for your appreciation of this scene. Apart from the pics of the first train leaving (which I haven't posted yet), this was the only sun of the weekend. This is also about the steepest part of the line, so a good place to see a bit of work being done, as you have also noticed in the exhaust.
Thank you Zanot
I am happy that you have enjoyed a glimpse of our old railways and factories.
