My dear Füsun

Thank you so much for your kind thoughts. Maybe on your next visit to England we can go here, or maybe there are other places where it is possible to rest in the sun, drink beer, and watch the trains go by!

My friend Scarulu,

Thank you for taking the trouble to visit this old church, and its famous grave stones . This kind of scene is very common in England. Usually the stones will go back a few hundred years. Strange that you should think of Bram Stoker, we too are very much aware of Vampires!! Keep some garlic and Holy symbols near you tonight!!

Best Wishes Peter

Greetings, Cate, and thank you for enjoying this little piece of Georgia. Yes indeed, most all of the photos you see in my gallery are from Georgia. I was born and raised here and love it dearly. Come on over and explore for a while! You're guaranteed to enjoy it! Thank you again for your kind visit.

Warmest regards, Mary Alice

My dear Füsun,

Thank you so much for finding this three year old picture, and for the awards. Maybe at a different time of year a much more colourful scene in this station to delight our visitors!

Yes Peter nobody seemed to bother in those days although I was well clear of the line its just before Tyndrum Lower station and its a crossing.Best wishes Alan.

Hi Peter Yes these locos had brought in a charter over the Settle - Carlisle route and I had been on it it the went down to Lancaster and back to York via Preston.Best wishes Alan.

Hi Peter It is possible they where gong to scrap but thought its more likely they were on their way to Toton Depot. As you can see from the comments I lived just about opposite the third loco our garden backed on to the Railway but we had moved about twenty years before this photo was taken.Best wishes Alan.
