Bonjour Betty. J'ai connu Fontfroide il y a environs cinquante ans. A l'époque j'habitais Narbonne et j'étais chef dune troupe de scouts. L'abbaye était grande ouverte, sans trop d'entretien et nous y venions très souvent. Plusieurs fois nous avons fait des feux de veillée et avons campé dans le cloitre. randy♥2climb: Yes, always did enjoy a campfire. Does'nt have to be big. Each of the many forest districts of the province's "crown land" post their own fire bans as conditions warrant. And, fines are hefty. Also note, this is not park land, where fires are prohibited. Greetings to WA from BC
