Hi Steve and Richard,
Thank you both for your visits and awards. I am very pleased that you like the shot.
Steve, there are four telegraph poles between the bridges. Three are in this picture, so you can deduce that it was between the last pair. The fence is now very dilapidated, so it is possible to walk some distance and stay safe of the danger of something coming towards Loughborough behind your back. Besides, I really wanted the tatty old fence in the picture, (and the telegraph pole) just to give a bit of interest.
Thank you so much for your visit here. Not the nicest of days to be outside, but at least the pink does add a bit of colour! It looks so different when the sun shines!

Hello Peter yes a great day spent together again at this Gala as others that have followed have proved to be also :))
it does seem we have covered most angles and frame options between us :))
HA HA yes indeed Peter and again interesting to see i framed this the same as my other shot from here just adding the signal post close to the side where as both your shots are framed exactly the same also to include the tree and last signs of Autumn colour :))
best wishes .. steve
Thank you Tone,
I am happy that you have enjoyed it. Your kind awards are really appreciated.
I was delighted to have got first and second places in the SPC with the two pictures you enjoyed.
It's nice of you to visit, your awards are really appreciated.
Hope you are well, we haven't spoken for a while!
Hello Peter yes shoulder to shoulder here and interesting to see two differant shots to some degree that came out of that situation
Thank you for your visit, and of course the awards. Strangely, this one is mapped pretty well spot on. I took it from there so as to reduce the amount of grass in the foreground, and also to get some views of crossing the field (which didn't really work).
Piero la tua foto corrisponde al tema richiesto del CSP di febbraio, grazie della partecipazione, ciao buona giornata bruno
