Hello there Peter, thank you so very much for your visit here and your generous comment on this colorful Spider. as you may have noticed my husband and I did not know what type spider this was until our dear friend Steve came "into the web" :) I hope you noticed that this Banana spider has a beetle in its grip:) James almost walked into this thing while clearing an area at the back side of our yard! He called to me to "come with the camera" :) Thanks again for your always welcomed visits and generous comments.

greetings from America, Sarah

Hi Richard and Alan,

Thank you so much for your most welcome visits, kind comments and awards. They are much appreciated. The rain had only just started at this point, so not bad enough to spoil the long distance shots, but enough to make everything wet! As you both have said, it does make for a different kind of picture.

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Pere Oliver,

Thank you so much for visit here. I am very happy that you have enjoyed it.

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Richard,

Thank you so much for your visit here. I watched the scene here for quite a while, along with another gentleman from the area, and came back with quite a few pictures of cars submerged to their axles, their owners trying (very unsuccessfully!) to drive them out. The general lack of intelligence would be quite amusing of it were not so distressing for those involved.

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Richard,

Thank you so much. Your visit, kind comments and awards are much appreciated. As I said to Andy, the yellow front end of the diesel does make for a focal point on an otherwise miserable day. I am pleased that you have enjoyed the rural framing!

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Richard,

Thank you so much for your visit here, kind comments and awards. Of course with two locomotives, a fair amount of exhaust is guaranteed!

Best Wishes Peter
