HI Nick, Mircea_RAICU, and Richard,

Thank you all for your admiration of this nice lady in her yellow dress.

Just be sheer coincidence I was visiting the Castle at Castle Rising with a friend, and she just happened to be there.. She was kind enough to oblige me....!!

Best Wishes Peter

Hi Richard and İsmail,

Thank you both for visiting our little town. While not the most vicious storm we have seen there, it certainly sent many a spectator home with wet clothes! I must come and visit your galleries again soon!

Best Wishes Peter

Thank you Richard,

I am pleased that you have enjoyed it. This type of locomotive was built in late 1950s and early 60s for freight traffic. They were usually used in pairs, nose to nose, which avoided any visibility problems for the driver. A few remain in active service today.

Best wishes Peter.

thank you again Richard i am pleased you like this shot also

Hello Alan yes it looked like they had converted the box into a little sitting / viewing room as it looks over the River Witham ( just behind me ) .. the path runs from Boston to Lincoln so plenty of parts to cycle some time

best wishes to both ....Steve
