It also makes a very nice screen saver
Unusual and inventive, I'm guessing that you like 'modern' expressive art, am I not wrong Boris?
I like this, but can't really explain why.
Wishing you glad tidings, ~ :D
These illuminated dwellings must be those that are on stilts that you took previously, am I correct Boris?
They have a much more cheerful affect when lit up in their warm neon glows. :)
I can't fault you on your adventurous spirit, and you must be quite fit doing all your night-time roamings! :)
Hoping more temperately agreeable sorts of nocturnal encounters for you in August, ~ :D
Nice light here Boris, brooding clouds and reflections off the rails give a pleasant feel to this evening 'iron-railroad' shot.
Good one, I like it; pleasant regards trundling in your direction, these from the east. ~ :D
Ah!...I've just clicked the left arrow,... the photographer has returned!
He couldn't resist going back out to take a silhouette shot of his neighbours residences before darkness envelopes the area.
He turns and reenters, looking forward to a well deserved glass of wine before venturing out into the night to capture some illuminating stories of life on the streets of N.Y.
Like them both, ~ :D
As the last glow of the setting sun slowly slides into the Atlantic, it ends another day in Far Rockaway as observed from this scenic facing balcony, the photographer deeply inhales a last few lungfuls of fresh ozone laden air and reluctantly turns to leave this beautifully invigorating scene knowing he has captured this moment for his future memories.....
..A lovely shot Boris, - it makes me want to go to the ocean and witness a similar sight! ~ D.
Hmm,....looks like cake decorating classes aren't that desirable, the icing on the cakes doesn't appear to be the 'tops' in Coleman Square seemingly! :)
What I am wondering is, what will replace it, rent-a-cake perhaps?
Non-sugary-adorned well-wishes ~ D. :¬)
Thank you very much, Stathis, for the nice comment and the generous Like&fav.
Best wishes. Claudio
A sign of the times in some parts of the world Boris.
People are paying large amounts of money in some flood threatened areas of England right now, to jack-up their homes.
Buy one, get a boat free!? :)
A Noah's Ark full of dry greetings flowing down to Queens, ~ :D
Just a small extra comment _Boris.
Volker mentioned that I knew the lyrics of the swing title.
When, as a boy in the fifties, I used to listen to 'The Voice of America' on the radio,
they had two hours of international news followed by two hours of jazz, always introduced by the 'A' Train, - it is seared into my brain! :))
BTW, like Volker, your link I really enjoyed playing too! - Cheers, ~ :D
