Boris Miller's conversations

I like this light-hearted shot Boris, but I'd love to know what's going through those four minds as they are being challenged from ahead; unrepeatable, or amusing... maybe amusingly unrepeatable.

Anyway, it's a smashing addition to your gallery with its colours, shadows, and the 'good to be alive' general feeling around it.

A big 'thumbs up' for this, ~ D.

Thank you for telling me sonjabgd, it's very kind of you, warm regards, ~ D.

I did indeed enjoy sharing in your balmy summer eventide Boris; there were plenty of seats spare in the auditorium, and the melodious drumming of the waves was a tonic for my auditory sensors, - heavenly, without a doubt!

Allegrezza greetings in return, ~ D. :)

Ah,... yes, your tie-in is very apt, - roses (Axl Rose) and this machine had a big Appetite for Destruction, - and no messing! :)

Cheers Boris, I suspect your BOL is grounding you somewhat again, a necessary evil I suppose, best wishes, ~ D.

Vielen Dank, Manfred!

Vielen herzlichen Dank für's Sternchen für meine Galerie, Brigitte!

Hello Ed I'm glad you've persisted, and got this fine comment off the ground, and into the orbit successfully! :)
I totally understand your feelings about the cancelling/scaling back of those traditional celebrations - it's a shame... I'm sure it doesn't sit well with many people in Holland, and hopefully this tendency could be stopped/reversed!
4th of July fireworks are sponsored by Macy's (large dept. store), so it's private money... Of course, there is still cost of police overtime, and other expenses to taxpayers, but no one would contemplate any changes to established ('patriotic' and other) holidays - no way!
The picture is so-so, because I didn't do my 'homework' - couldn't get anywhere near the right spot... Maybe next year :)
Greetings, - B.

Only $10! I'm tempted!

I'd get an even louder 'bang for the buck', as the attention would be all year round over here. :))

I'm surprised at all the sub-divisions of the Iroquoians, thinking that there were only a handful.

My education proceeds with pleasure, thank you for that Boris!

From a very distant relative of the 'Mayflower's' once hopeful passengers, the most friendly of greetings to you too... ( well, it is another variation on a theme) ~ D. :))

Many thanks for your kind comments JLuis, it's a pleasure to read them; best regards, ~ David.

JLuis, thank you, I appreciate your compliment very much; regards, ~ David.
