Thanks Jack, it was a good day out, good weather, good exercise and a nice change.
Warm regards, ~ D.
Ah yes, Chronos, a god of many talents, but even he had to pause for breath and check on his progress.
He's picked a good place to do it here; the benches? There are some dotted around, we found them very convenient a couple of times when we took a leaf out of old Chronos' book. :)
Omicron Kappa, you got me stumped for a reply to your kind felicitations,
the best I can do is, wishing you a ...Rhododáktylos Ēṓs
This phrase occurs frequently in the Homeric poems referring to Eos, the Titanic goddess of the dawn.
Eos opened the gates of heaven so that Helios could ride his chariot across the sky every day (maybe you'd like to give it a try Boris!) :)
Thanks, &ri.co I'm pleased you like it! ~ David.
A chair is a person.
He is always observing the marine situation.
A visionary spectacle. Keisuke
Thank you Eva - you are right, no one was sitting on the benches, waiting to be soaked :) There were some bikers on the boardwalk thought, that took it in stride, and even enjoyed a bit of excitement... The storm was a moderate one - not much thunder and lightning, and afterwards the air was fresh and clean, and the boardwalk shiny as a mirror..
She's a little treasure and yes, I do speak to her and remind her of that.
I agree, her smile is very disarming and she can use it to very good effect sometimes! :)
Many thanks for your kind words Tanya, I will let her know what you said, the very best of wishes, ~ D.
I missed the date of these photo's Boris, normally I glance at them but you caught me out this time. :)
I couldn't remember S.J's name either, it's not that long ago since he was promoting something on T.V. over here, (I can't remember what that was too!)
Anyway, I still enjoyed the tour, even if it was in retro-mode.
Unforgettable greetings to you, ~ D.
Ah,.. more pretty girls _Boris, your trip to 42nd street with all its colors, individual faces and appealing characters, has got you some very good shots; it's been a real pleasure to accompany you around this area of N.Y's
Warm sunny greet's, ~ D.
Hmm... dusky-pink looks as though it's the "in" colour this season.
I like it...but there again,..what's not to like about it! :))
Greetings in various hues (including pink,) ~D.
You caught these fans' expressions perfectly Boris, it's great to see kids being happy; maybe another one for the future historians to add to their archives of 21st century N.Y.
A "roaring-ly" successful shot, ~ D. :)
Thanks Amelia, not wet , but very clean.... :)
