I am in this photo, must have been 1970/71. Mr Edwards (headmaster) is on the right, Mr Thomas (no longer with us) and Miss Lewis on the left. I recognise quite a few of the faces.
Cardigan was a port from the middle ages and still is but now only leisure boats sail in and out. The silting up of the river at the turn of the twentieth century prevented larger vessels from using it from then on. Fishermen still make their living from the river and their shared livelihood goes back for hundreds of years.
