This vessel now had a hull breach and water can be seen pouring out of holes in the hull when the tide recedes. It is also listing quite badly now. Such a shame.

The old pier has now been demolished to make way for a brand new, longer one. The work should take about 3 months to complete.
Over twenty seals spent the morning bobbing up and down before getting out on to the shore.
Having been safely moored for years near by the causeway the severe storms of 2013/14 caused the vessel to break free and beach right next to the road.
